The North Park Willow Lodge Cabin , dedicated to our Nana, Miss Shirley, is located on private property beside the entrance of the State Forest State Park on our North Park Yurts land. This drive-up cabin Is located past the North Park Yurts, nestled in the back of the property. This cabin will be located near the snow mobile main trail giving it premier access. It will have drive up access and allow dogs during the winter season. Solar lights and fully stocked cooking area is what you will find in this front country cabin just off Highway 14. The Willow Lodge will provide a bit more luxurious way of roughing it.

This cabin offers comfort while being at the base of all the beauty just a stone throw away. There is a private two-track ski trail on the North Park property. Furnishing: Almost 1000 sq ft. Two queen beds in a private upstairs room, six queen beds bunk style (3 and 3), one single futon chair, a folding couch for two+ additional sleeping spots, kitchen table/chairs, solar lights and fully stocked cooking area. Cots for extra visitors and may be used on the floor or loft space. This cabin will be able to accommodate 20+, a giant deck with fire pit, just off the deck, have been completed (Summer 2018) and will have a double outhouse with water system (will be added Summer 2019).  Currently two port-a-johns serve the cabin in which are cleaned weekly.

  • Sleeps 20: King (1), Queens (8), Single (1) - NO additional floor pads are provided.

  • Includes: Mattresses and pillows, chopped firewood (limited in summer), propane, propane light, propane cooktop, wood burning stove, snow melt pot, all kitchen pots and pans, all kitchenware, limited paper towels, limited toilet paper, limited matches and newspaper, limited dish soap and sponges, kitchen towels, snow shovel, maul and axe, coffee percolator, fire extinguisher, outdoor charcoal grill (charcoal not included), outside food storage box, table and chairs, outhouse, and yurt journal.  Click to open winter/summer pack lists below.

  • YOU are responsible for bedding*, food, and water. *bedding may be rented from us at $25/stay.  Daily Parks Pass is NOT required for this cabin but IS required if you enter the parks.

  • We are a backcountry RUSTIC setting lodging company and concessionaire of Colorado Parks & Wildlife.

  • NONE of our units have running water OR electricity; Our friends at the Hilton Fort Collins do.  All units are equipped with outhouses.

AREA TRAILS AND ATTRACTIONS

Bull Mountain:  About a half mile away is the base of Bull Mountain via Bull Mountain Road.  This road connects with the Beaver Lodge Nature Trail, Custer Draw Trail. Kiwi Road, and South Canadian Road.  Although our private property sits on 30 acres of open space to explore, it is also at the entrance to the State Forest State Park allowing for access to all 77,000 park acres.

 

County Road 41/Highway 14:  Willow Lodge Cabin sits on a private tract of land on the northwest corner of Highway 14 and County Road 41.  Willow Lodge has prime access to Gould, CO (3 miles), Cameron Pass (10 miles), Arapaho National Refuge (15 miles) and Walden, CO (18 miles).
