for updated road conditions.
| Colorado Highway 14 | Clear; could have snow as storms come through the area. |
| Jackson County Road 41 | Road is clear and/or muddy in spots. The shoulders are soft. Be mindful of the speed limit as well as other drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. |
| Lake Agnes Road / Nokhu Hut / Agnes Creek Cabin | Road is closed at the Hwy 14. Park off the Hwy 14 to the south at the Crags Campground/Lake Agnes turn off. Follow the signs for Lake Agnes / Nokhu Hut. Turn right and go around the gate over the bridge. Pass the Crags Campground and continue up the hill. Turn right at Agnes Creek / Nokhu Hut sign and head down the road to the summer parking lot for the cabins. Agnes Creek is the first on the right and up ahead 60 yds or so is the Nokhu Hut. |
| Grass Creek Yurt | Summer road is closed. Follow County Rd 41 just over 3 miles to the winter Grass Creek Yurt parking on the left just after the cabins. Park in the parking lot and the trail head is just across the street. Cross the road and follow the blue markers to the yurt. Walk next to the buck and rail fence line on the left. Cross a bridge and continue to follow the fence line until the break in the fence. Go thru and follow the blue markers to the yurt. |
| Ruby Jewel Yurt & Clark Peak Yurt (There are logging trucks using the first mile of this road. There is an alternate route 0.10 down county road 41.) |
Summer road is closed. Follow County Rd 41 4.8 miles into the State Park to the Ruby Jewel Rd. The parking lot is on the right. Park conservatively as both yurts use this parking lot. There is a logging company one mile up the road. You can use the alternate route to avoid the logging trucks. The alternate route is 0.10 down County Road 41. Follow the Francisco road 0.4 mile to a buck-n-rail fence marked with a blue diamond. Go around the fence and follow the blue diamonds up the trail 0.4 mile to the second buck-n-rail fence. You are now back on the Francisco Road. Turn right and travel 0.10 back to the Ruby Jewel Road and follow the Ruby Jewel Road up 1.0 mile to the Ruby Jewel Yurt on the right. Continue up the road another 20 yards and turn left at the sign for Clark Peak Yurt. Follow the blue diamonds to the yurt. |
| North Fork Canadian Yurt | Follow County Road 41 (8.5 miles) through the State Park to the end of the road and park in lot by outhouse. Trail starts at gate (100yds beyond parking area). Follow trail markers to yurt. First 3/4 mile of trail follows a logging road. Turn right at North Fork Canadian Yurt sign and follow blue diamonds 1/4 mile to yurt. |
| Dancing Moose Yurt | Summer road to yurt is closed. Follow County Road 41 into the state park approximately 4.5 miles to the Dancing Moose Yurt winter parking lot which is on the right. Park and watch for vehicles as you cross the road to the trail head. |
| Montgomery Pass Yurts | The Bockman Road is closed. Take County Rd 41 into the State Park and park in the parking area to right at Bockman Road (4 miles from entrance station). Please do not block the road. A snow cat needs to access this road often as it is a groomed snowmobile route. Follow the Bockman Road in 2.0 miles and park just after the Montgomery Pass turn off. Turn left and travel up the road to the Lower Montgomery Pass Yurt parking lot. Access to both yurts can be made here or travel another 200 yds up to the parking lot for Upper Montgomery Yurt and follow the trail into the Upper Montgomery Pass Yurt. |

We just began adding photo galleries for each yurt to our Yurt Journal. So far we have the Dancing Moose Yurt, Ruby Jewel Yurt, the Montgomery Pass Yurts and the Nokhu Hut up for your enjoyment. If you ever wondered how we build the yurts, check out the Montgomery Pass photos and follow us through the process of building the Lower Montgomery Pass Yurt.
We just received some great photos from a group of guys from Wisconsin who spent their spring break at the Ruby Jewel Yurt. Check out the Ruby Jewel pages at the Yurt Journal. We are always looking for good photos and yurt stories (G ratings only please!). If you have some photos and/or a story to share, let us know either by email or snail mail. Be sure to include a note that we have permission to use your photo.

So many of you have asked that we put the availability of our yurts on our website that we couldn't refuse! You can now check your own dates before you call for your reservation. We recommend that you have a couple of choices picked out since what is available may change rapidly - especially for the winter season. From the Availability page pick the month you are interested in checking. The block for each day of that month will have the names of the yurts that are available. We only do reservations by the yurt, we do not make reservations by the bed. See the Reservation and Rates page for information on making a reservation.
