August We went on a bike ride and fishing at the lake. Last night everyone went out with their sleeping bags and watched the stars. I saw a shooting star. Today we hiked up to Ruby Jewel Lake. |

| July Saw a mother moose and her calf - very cool! A porcupine has been visiting us daily at the yurt, resting peacefully on the wood underneath. Bill saw a bear yesterday morning on the slope above the outhouse. We made a plaster cast of the paw print and took some photos. This place remains very beautiful and special! |
